ADRIÁN ESPÁRRAGA IS DE NIEUWE SPORTIEF DIRECTEUR VAN KMSK DEINZE
Adrián Espárraga (31) wordt met onmiddellijke ingang de nieuwe Sportief Directeur van KMSK Deinze. Deze rol werd in het verleden voornamelijk door de voorzitter, manager en coaches van de club vervuld. Het is de eerste keer dat een Sportief Directeur aangesteld wordt bij KMSK Deinze. Adrián zal verantwoordelijk zijn voor de sportieve kant van de club, zowel van het eerste elftal als de jeugdacademie.
Adrián is geboren in Cartagena, Spanje. Hij begon zijn voetbalcarrière als assistent-trainer bij CD Alhaurino en werd daarna scout bij FC Málaga (La Liga, Spanje), waar hij zich uiteindelijk opwerkte tot hoofdanalist en hoofdscout. Hij was scout bij Tottenham (Premier League, Engeland) van 2014 tot 2016, een van de hoofdscouts bij Real Betis (La Liga, Spanje) in het seizoen 15/16, een van de hoofdscouts bij Leicester City (Premier League) van 2016 tot 2019 en dan van begin 2019 tot eind 2020 bij Bordeaux (Ligue 1, Frankrijk).

ADRIÁN ESPÁRRAGA IS THE NEW SPORTING DIRECTOR OF KMSK DEINZE
Adrián Espárraga (31) is the new Sporting Director of KMSK Deinze with immediate effect. In the past, this role has mainly been filled by the club’s president, manager and coaches. It is the first time that a Sporting Director has been appointed at KMSK Deinze. Adrián will be in charge of managing the sporting side of the club, including both the first team and the youth academy.
Adrian was born in Cartagena, Spain. He started his football career as an assistant coach at CD Alhaurino before becoming a scout at Málaga FC (La Liga, Spain), where he eventually worked his way up to chief analyst and Head of Scouting. Adrián then scouted for Tottenham (Premier League, England), was fellow Head of Scouting at Real Betis (La Liga, Spain) in the 15/16 season, fellow Head of Scouting at Leicester City (Premier League) from 2016 to 2019 and at Bordeaux (Ligue 1, France) from 2019 to late 2020.
